It’s Time To Push

Updated: Jul 7, 2021

A few days ago I had a dream where a note was passed to me. I knew who wrote it because I can tell by the handwriting. I tried reading it but I couldn’t. Not because I couldn’t understand the writing, but because God wouldn’t not allow me to read the note. Then a co-worker of mine was in her car and she said, “It’s time to push.” So I asked God why I couldn’t read the note, but could hear the person. It was so clear to me, “It’s not about what you see. I need you to listen to me.” In other words, stop waiting for other people to give you instructions and listen to God’s instruction. It’s time to push!

When a woman in labor, she pushes and pushes and then she will say, “I can’t do it.” or “It’s too hard.” or “I’m going to die.” I know I am a mother of two sets of twins! I know its hard. I know it hurts. I know it feels like you’re going to die, but if you keep pushing you will see the reward! You will see everything that God desires for you to have. Don’t stop because that’s what the enemy wants you to do. He wants you to stop loving your spouse in spite of their issues. He wants you to stop praying for your children and have you thinking things will not get any better. He wants you stop believing in your dream of having your own business or have the ministry or career God said you can have. Keep Pushing! Scripture tells us in Galatians chapter 6 verse 9: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” If you stop pushing, the enemy has you just where he wants you. Because if your seed does not die, you surely will (John 10:10).

See, just when the woman is exhausted lying their crying, sweating, ready to go to sleep, God says, “Oh no! It’s time to push!” Push for your marriage, push for your family, push for YOU! In this season, there is no time to second guess the voice of God. There is no time to focus on what you see, but what the word of God says. It’s time to get real. No more playing games with God (John 4:24). It’s time to Push!
