All In His Plan

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

Before I went to sleep last night I was led to listen to the song All in His Plan by PJ Morton with LeAndria Johnson and Mary Mary. Last night, this song touched me in such a deeper way than ever before. Especially, when Mary Mary just moaned. The older generation used to say that you moan to keep the devil from knowing what you are saying. That maybe true, but sometimes you have endured so much pain that all you can do is moan because you have no words. But God understands that too. The scriptures says in Jeremiah 29:11,”For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Almost three years ago, my husband had an on the job injury that caused him to not to be able to do the things he used to do including work and just when we thought everything was about to be over as far as having a second surgery and among other things, something else comes up to prolong the process. But I am reminded that it’s all in His plan.

Yes, it’s very discouraging, but we must trust the process. I say “we” because what he goes through I go through and vice versa because we are one. So this message is for someone who is ready to give up, throw in the towel, or call it quits, don’t! This is to make you stronger and to cut away those things that are not needed in your next level. In other words, to get the best out of you. Did you know that some of the most precious things are created when pressure, heat, or crushing is applied? Whatever your situation is right now, my prayer is that God gives you peace in the storm. I will not pray the storm away because that is part of your process. God has something waiting on you but you have to trust the process. I know the pain may have affected your health, your finances, and your emotional or mental state, but you have got to know it’s All In His Plan.
